Hello Reader,

We are thrilled to once again celebrate the courageous individuals who demonstrate unwavering commitment to environmental justice, but we need your help.

When you think about an award for environmental action & impact, does someone come to mind?

Please take a moment and submit a nomination for this year's awards event (coming up in December). The final day for nominations is coming up soon!

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be based in the United States or U.S. territories.
  • Demonstrate courage, commitment, and determination in addressing environmental injustices.
  • Work to mitigate the adverse effects of fossil fuels on their communities and environment.
  • Special consideration will be given to nominations for emerging leaders under the age of 30. Youth under the age of 18 will also be considered with guardian consent.
  • Self-nominations are not accepted; candidates must be nominated by someone else who can attest to their contributions and impact.

How to Nominate

To submit a nomination for the 2024 Community Sentinel Award, fill out our online nomination form by October 6, 2024. We look forward to learning about the remarkable individuals in your community.
